Integrated Early Childhood Education Development (IECED) Unit
Early childhood care and development approach has been adopted for the care and support given to children aged 0-5 years as reflected in its mission and functions.
FUNCTIONS
The unit performs the following functions:
Collection of data on the enrolment of the existing centres annualy.
Distribution of IECD instructional materials provided by ADSUBEB/UBEC intervention fund.
The unit design annual work plan for procurement of textbooks/instructional materials and teacher development using matching grant.
